Solar PV is one of the largest projects on the solar energy started by the government some where in 1970. The full form of the PV is Photovoltaic and it is also known as SPV module, to name it quickly. As we all know that in a developing countries are still behind the world in the manufacturing of silicon cell which is essential for this module. They just assemble the parts in those countries then and make or assemble the cells together to make the components to a finished solar PV module. This is because of the high costs that are involved in the manufacturing of this silicon cells if one tries to make it from scrape. But, never the less, their governments have taken an initiative in the development of different solar products in order to promote the Solar PV application based products in the country.
Compared to the other countries few countries are blessed with the sunlight throughout the year for the maximum time by nature. There for, we have gradually taken the opportunity of utilizing this energy that we receive form the sun, which we call as solar energy, in our day to day life and our routine which has turned in to Solar PV. Today we get all the possible devices on solar starting from the cooking appliances to the home appliances which are really supportive to us. Today, the world is growing at a faster pace and with the advanced technology in every field. There is the need of saving energy for the proper distribution to the maximum.
We all know that the grid electricity that we get is a non renewable energy source. If it gets exhaust, we will have to face a problem, as the advanced technologies have made us habitual of getting all the facilities with the optimum benefits and we all are sure that we cannot stay without the daily facilities that we get or any such disturbance in our routine. So, it is always better to have options for every problem that we might have to face in future and so is Solar PV.
Solar PV -the magic of human brain:
Solar PV can be simply explained as, the device used to convert the solar energy into electric energy. The panels that are used in this module convert the direct sunlight by absorbing them directly and then convert them in the energy that enables us to run the devices made of solar applications. The Photovoltaic is made up from the monocrystalline silicon copper indium gallium sulfide, amorphous silicon, Polly crystalline silicon and cadmium telluride. All these are extracted from silicon which you might have understood by reading the names of the components. This silicon cell that we get is very expensive to manufacture.
The functioning of Solar PV:
The Solar PV has made it possible to generate the electricity, in all the countries on a greater scale. For the easy understanding of the functioning of the solar devices the succeeding conversion is explained in a very simple language. There are four essential devices to convert solar energy into the electricity. These are 1) The solar Panel 2) The inverter 3) The battery and 4) the controller. The natural solar energy is captured by the panel and absorbed there in the form of direct current (DC). This current is then controlled by the controller being its main function. This current is then passed on to the battery in the same DC form. At the final stage of conversion the direct current (DC) is converted to alternate current (AC) by the inverter and this is how we get the electricity power. Solar PV is a creation of human brain indeed!
View of Edgar Morin on the future education system and its influence on society
It is a well-known fact that Edgar Morin is a famous philosopher and thinker who has captured imagination of people in a great manner. He has proposed amazing reforms that would help to get the best possible solution. According to him education should focus on development which is in harmony with the environment and could be sustained over a period of time. One of the biggest attributes must be democratic values that would work in collaboration with system of equality to provide justice to a large section of population.
Modern education must equip people with enough skills so that they are able to adapt towards changes in modern times. World has become very complex due to globalization and has made life difficult for people due to rapidly shifting paradigms. Therefore education must undergo a holistic restructuring that would help to offer maximum benefits to the students. In present era there are different streams of knowledge which are being imparted as mutually exclusive entities.
Edgar Morin stipulates that they must be combined and synchronized so that they are able to develop sense of coherence among people. Twenty First century is facing its own set of problems that could be achieved only by overhauling the educational institutions that have forgotten the structure on which knowledge is based. It would underline the importance of mother earth along with comprehending skills of human beings.
